Pretty easy. Get a good solid pair of snap ring pleirs, a BFH, a pickle fork wide enough for the ball joints and a ball joint press and you should be good to go!

You need more than the joints, you also need 4 different seals. Plan on spending better than $200 for everything for one side.

AutoZone quoted me $30 for the upper and $31 for the lower. The brand is duralast and they have lifetime warranty.

Napa quoted me upper $43 greaseable and $39 lower for straight axle, ibeam lower $37 lower

My question is: I have a 99.5 f350 with a solid axle. When I bought front brake rotors I needed I-beam rotors. Can any one explain that. Do I have an I-Beam?

When I buy ball joints it ws going to make a difference.
