Are you running the big 6637 filter. Or the OEM replacement filter.

I'm using a Baldwin that is the same as the 6637. Last night I ordered a tapered open cone type filter made by Donaldson. My theory is that the if filter is crammed in between the battery and the fuse box, the fender and the hood insulation, it has to be restricting the air flow. I am going to try a smaller diameter cone shaped filter with a hollow end for more surface area. This and the Zoodad ought to be an improvement. Hope so anyway. I installed a chip in the truck this past weekend and it is screaming for more air!

Thumbs up filer

i had a k&n and i hated the noise. so i got the for a.i.s. kit from the dealer for $220. it has the same or more flow than the k&n. it looks like the same filter as a 6.0l. plus there is no air intake noise and the turbo whistle is as loud as the k&n and i know the filtration is at its best. also did the zoodad. i have no regreats about my purchase. hope this helps.
