Just wondering if I could get a custom lcd screen to fit in the overhead console hole and some how hook to my old android phone to display torque app gauges?

Maybe if this screen has bluetooth ,a USB port,or some other way to mirror the phone. But why not just use an android tablet?

Just for the coolness of the custom look, I would figure that I would have to take my phone apart and somehow make the new screen touchable. Some new lcd cord that plugs in where my phones old one did?

i know the old droid x's had HDMI output.. you could run a hdmi port to it and hook into a lilliput monitor to mirror it, but you'd still have to have access to the phone... or pull a console out of the scrapyard and order a cheap android phone and docking station on ebay, and figure out a way to mount it in there.. would constantly be in, and i'm sure with tasker you could figure out a setup to start, restart and shut down the phone or certain commands..

or mount a tablet in your double din section.. the nexus 7 and most other 7" tablets fit almost perfect in there..
