1999 f450 cab removal (single cab)

Hey guys, So i'm starting my zf6 swap this week, and i need to rip the cap off my f450 donor truck.

By no means do i have to be careful with the body, literally strands of rust holding it together.

So i removed the 4 cab bolts, rad, hood... ect...

I've never done a cab removal before, is there anything i could do to make my life easier? any helpful hints or anything?

thanks.

Are you swapping frames, or just the transmission? If just the tranny, i think it would be easier to drop it than trying to lift the cab. Then just cut out the tranny humps and swap em around.

Ah, gotcha. I couldn't tell ya honestly. Never taken a cab off. Good luck though.
