I took the fuse panel off my truck today and found this plug underneath the steering column. Anyone know what it goes to or what its for?

look for a "dummy" plug, for it to plug into. The blu/ylw tracer wire, i want to say, is the "dormant" 12v switch assessory wire, we all use to "feed" our aftermarket gauges and switches.

I think the PO pulled out the dummy plug because i didn't see anything like that. Could i use that blue/yellow wire to provide power to another 12v power point?

I think they were used on ambulances for when they needed extra power for those defibulators or whatever

It is an accessory you can buy from ford.

It is basicly a controller that you can idle your truck up with. You can set it to any value from 1300-2500. Good for running a PTO (power take off) unit or charging batteries, or warming the truck up fast.

When not using the high idle mode, the screen displays your current RPM's
