First time owner

I just bought my first diesel truck a 99 f250 with 60,000 miles on it. Everything is stock, and am looking for some help for increasing performance and getting better gas mileage.

congrats on the new truck...

here are a few things you should be considering
Gauges
intake
exhaust
custom tuned chip

6.0L trans cooler upgrade
and if you have a lil bit more money a valvebody

PHP chip is by far the best bang for the buck. The performance increase is startling.

the hell with all that crap mentioned. Do what i DIDNT, and probably the rest did, and get yourself the AE..(autoenginuity). Sounds like your in for the long haul with thisride. BTW, congrats onthe purchase. Also, any pics of motor compartment so we know what you have...E99 or L99

99.5 x-cab 7.3l, 6spd, 161k miles.....

It's e99 more specific march. What exactly does the auto engunity do?
