Thumbs up noisy front end

02 f250, 123k, when I go over dips or speed bumps there is a "rubbing" noise from the passenger and driver side. Does this sound like shocks, or something else? Overall the front end feels tight, good tire wear, steering is good. Thanks for the help.

My 03 7.3 does the same, not sure what it is front end is tight, ball joints are good, shocks are new and steering stabilizer is new. My steering box had a little play in it i tightened it up some and still getting the noise.

Leaf spring bushings. Replace with poly and it will go away.

Does it have a bump sound as well? If so check your sway bar bushings and the links that connects them to the axle if its 4wd or a arm if 2wd

"Rubbing" noise, I would have to say it's worn bushings somewhere. My sway bar got loose, and when I hit bumps it was a pounding noise that made you think a leaf was loose. I jacked up my truck by the bumper until stress was equal and shook everything until I found the culprit.
