7.3 ae test

ok, ran a whole bunch of test with the ae today.

Cold engine...
Chip out- no codes
Chip out- buzz test good no codes twice
Chip in- p1298 code twice
Chip in- buzz test good but with same p1298 code twice

Warm engine.....
Chip in- p1298 until I clear codes then the p1298 will not show up till I run the buzz test.

Chip in Buzz test- ran it a few times with successful test then several times with the p1298 code. Every time the injectors sound loud and audible.

CCT test- came up with something different just about every time it was run.
(2,7,8) one time, (7), another, (5,6,8) another, none a couple times, (7) last time I ran it.

So is this just a phantom code????????? Sometimes it is there sometimes it is not.

2000 f250 crew cab 4x4 6sp manual, Jim Rosewood 238/100 hybrids, gtp 38r, srp1.1 hpop, DP-Tuner! Driven diesel fuel sys!
269,xxx and counting!!

If you have a spare idm that you know works then try swapping it in. Aside from that, call DP and ask them about it.
