Me vs Camry ?

One of my friends just got a brand new toyota camry, with w/e the 4 cylinder is... He says hes beat mustang with it, and a beamer. I told him that was highly unlikely, and that I didnt beleive him...Of course now he wants to race me...I just put my 35"s back on, who will win? BTW his car is bone stock...Im feeling a 4 wheel boost launch just for fun.

Even with 35"s or would it be worthwhile to put the 33"s back on?

i actually driving my grandma's 06 camry yesterday to run to the parts store while i was workin on my truck because she stopped over the house...well ill tell you this it isnt even a comparison between a tuned 6.0 (you have 7.3) and a 4 banger camry...go for it if you win he'll feel like an idiot and if you lose he beat a 1 ton truck...nothing to be to proud of either way in most peoples eyes that dont know diesel's

2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve VVT-i 4-cylinder 158 hp @ 6000 rpm/161 lb.-ft. @ 4000 rpm with a 3800lbs curb weight....a Honda civic would have a tough time NOT beating him. Unless he is lying an has the v6 in it, you should take him easily, even with 35s

I'm sure he can beat a 1980's 4cyl mustang, and maybe an older 3 series BMW, thats not a GT or an M3

edit: but do you really want to brag about beating a camry?

^^^^^ I would let him(that camry) beat me 1-2 times and then hand his butt to him. Best three out of five but then again, I like messing with people.

The 20 year old kid next door with a new mustang GT got schooled my an old man in a powerstroke thursday night....
