2001 to 2003 Headlight Replacement Idea/trick

Sorry to bring this up again, as there are several posts on how to swap out headlights. Just wanted to add one trick I tried to get the old headlights removed. Could not get the bottom out-side corner of the lights to release and tried every trick recommended on this forum and under the Superduty Headlight Replacement on youtube. This included the socket trick and also asking help from the wife. I did get the passenger side removed after I removed the battery to get a little more room, but could not get the drivers side to lease. Here's the trick ... just unscrew the adjusting bolt all the way out until the head light is released. Then just unscrew the new adjuster from the new light, then push the bolt on the new light into the old adjuster setting and tighten up to pull the light in. Takes a little pushing to get the new bolt into the old adjuster, but once in, no problem, just adjusts as normal. Makes removal and installing a whole lot easier. Wish I had tried this before I spend half a day trying to get the old lights removed. Just thought I'd pass this on in case others in the future run into the same problem with getting their old lights removed.
