Twisted Diesel trans?

Well a while ago my trans started acting up, first the converter would slip above 2500 rpms and now im slipping a little in 2nd. Im 19 and have payed for everything on this truck as well as going to college, i work at an Evergreen Farm and a lot of my time is spent delivering orders of balled live trees, along with pulling a skidster so i can plant them, so my truck makes me money and I cant afford to have it down. id like to get a new trans before this thing just completely goes out the window.

I dont have the money for a BTS trans as that would be my first choice but i was also recommended by a friend to look into twisted diesel's transmissions. there stage 1 trans is $2100 comes with a modified valve body and add $400 for a torque converter
Twisted Diesel Transmission Level 1 4r100 - Twisted Diesel
I contacted them and asked if it would be a "better than stock" converter as if its not then itll be bad again in a couple years but ill have to wait until monday to hear back from them. I also need to choose wisely because i plan on pushing 400-425 rwhp in the future. do you guys think the stage 1 could handle 400 ponies with the proper converter? I know the stage one trans will be plenty for me right now just being chipped and if thats what i need to do to keep the truck on the road and making me money then thats all ill do but it would be nice if it would hold up to my future power level plans.

thats what ive been reading so far, and it sounds like they stand behind there warranty. does anybody know exactly what they mean by "add a torque converter for $400"? like is it an aftermarket converter or do they put a stock like converter back in?

i think that means the trans wont come with a converter unless you add the extra 400 bucks.

they might rebuild their own in house so that would make a better than stock converter cheaper.
