SMOKE ?

I was driving along tonight when I noticed that under hard acceleration I was throwing a good bit of smoke. I looked before and never saw smoke. I'm stock except for some mods to the stock airbox and a k&n drop in. The only changes I've made was last week I threw a half a bottle of diesel clean into anout 15 gallons because my xpd had arrived and I wanted to start using it. I'm now running the xpd summer. The truck is running great, only 49000 miles and feels fine. Any ideas why I just started seeing smoke ?

what color smoke is it?
Most likely it will go away after you burn off whats left of the additive you put in .

I agree with these guys, but you could check your IC boots too to see if one blew off in the meantime....

I don't know the color of the smoke because it was night but I'll try to see today. I was thinking a boost leak too but it feels the same or even a little better.

I drove it today and saw no smoke, maybe I was just burning some of the old stuff off.

id rid of the k&n filter from what i have read as well.

This is your reason. Night time makes the smoke stand out more due to the street, and headlights.. Check again at night and im sure you will notice the smoke again.
