stupid move of the day

I figured i would tell yall about my stupid move of the day. I took my air filter off of my afe and plugged the hole with a towel so that i could start washing my engine...well about an hour later and a pretty clean engine, I figured i would let the motor run while i put the air filter on so it could start drying. crank the motor and walk up my driveway before i take off running after realizing i left the towel in the intake tube get to the truck and no towel, cut it off, make some calls, and take off the intake tube and theres the rag at the turbo...man i got lucky no shreds or tears....just a dirty black towel now...thank god.

I did an idiot move similar, only a little less potential for damage. I put a plastic bag over my filter so i could power wash the engine, then i got the genius idea, Hm lets take a drive with the filter mostly blocked so i can make some smoke. Well, the filter got a lot smaller...
