How to wire 1.5k mod

Ther are lots of threads about the 1.5k mod but none say how to wire it. Witch wire on the icp sensor is it and also I want to wire it to a switch. Thanks

Its been 10 years or so since I dicked with ICP mods... Its not the right way to mess with the truck.

However if you google 10k mod, its more or less the same, just different resistor values.

if wanting it off a switch, run the 2-wires back to cab, and havethe resistor soldered in one of the wires...grey/red, blue/grn

Diesel Movies - I install a 10k resistor in the ICP sensor of a 2001 F250 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel.

install resistor between gry/red and blu/grn wires.

Ok I have a early 99 and I guess my wire colors are different. Here's what I have yellow/red brown/white and green/light green

Found it out here is the procedure for everyone wanting to do a resistor mod for e99

Locate icp sensor insert resistor into green wire through insulation
Run lead off other end of resistor to switch if using a switch
Run other lead off switch to yellow /red wire
then clean up loose wires
Do not cut any factory wires

With the 1.5k throttle response is very snappy and has kinda rough lope
