Just got my 7.3

Hey guys just got my 7.3 this week. This is my first 7.3, i previous own 05 6.0 and 07 6.0 (up for sale now). this one is a keeper as i always wanted a dually. Okay now with the f350, it is a 1999 (03/99) with 237,000 miles, owner said transmission has been rebuilt 15k ago, and has a check engine light for ICPS sensor?? I have no clue what that is, and it also has bad ripped interior. Why did i buy this one? i will in the future change interior to the newer style, and for a great price he offered i could not pass up. I have some questions and things i want to do to it, if you guys can help i will appreciate it as I'm a noobie

Concerns:
The power steering is not working and see leakage from the rack n pinion?
The brakes shakes when im slowing down from 50+ mph
Transmission shifts a little hard when gasing it, but when ride normal on throttle it shifts smooth, the owner said when he rebuild the transmission they also put in a converter??? and it suppose to shift a little hard?? and theres a super chip in it

What should I do as I just got the truck?
I was thinking changing the oil, plugs, filter etc. what is necessary to do when first bringing this home?

Things I want to do, planning on
MBRP turbo back or should i look into something else
Programmer, what kind should i get?
Pyrometer
is there anything I need for the motor?
05-07 from conversion
08 tailgate and bumper
lift kit, dont know if i should do a 6" or 8" (want to get some 22)
22.5 alcoa wheels
King Ranch interior if i find some at the junk yard lol

Thanks guys!

heres the truck

First thing I would do is change all fluids and filters and it sounds like you need a brake job with new rotors.

Yea, you could probably have yours turned but I would just replace them if I were you.

Remove the superchip ASAP.

That is probably causing your hard shift.

Invest in a good multi-position chip with tuning from a good tuner. DP-tuner, PHP Hydra, TS-6 posion with tunes from companies such as Gearhead, Tony Wildman are all good choices and can actually improve your shifts with much more power than the superchip.

Change all your important fluids, Might be worth it to drop it off at a good diesel shop and them replace everything. Rearend fluid, antifreeze, oil, trans fluid, brake, transfer case.

in regards to your CEL with the icp, it stands for injection control pressure, it reads the pressure you get from your hpop. also ditch the superchips programmer and I would recommend a chip from Beans diesel performance or gearhead.

also sounds like you need a new powersteering pump.
