Stage 1 injectors or Stage 2's and detune?

Ive got an 02 250 with the junk PMR rods. Still looking to get some sticks, what do you think play it safe with the Stage 1's or go with the stage 2's and have tony detune the program alittle when he redoes the chip?

if you want to live on the edge go with the 2's. if you wanna play "safer" go with 1's. There is always a better chance of you blowin it up with either though

Go with the stage 2's and just drive it. Stage 2's with a turbo and fuel system will be just at or shy of 400hp... Plenty safe for good tunes and no drugs.

If it were me, I would go with hybrids and detune them... better to have something left then push it to the max...

With what you have already and a set of stage 2's you will have one nice running truck. I know another guy on here that has a TN BB turbo with a set of DDP stage 2's that just dynoed 402hp.

ok sweet im looking at 2 different injector builders, im looking at the Jim from Rosewood diesel shop his prices are by far the best and i havnt herd anything bad about his work, his stage 2c's would run me $1300+/-. Im also looking at Casserlys injectors sold by beans diesel and tony at total diesel perf, they would run me about $1600 the only difference and im not even sure about this is cass uses EDM? nozzels and RDS uses EH nozzels. but again i might be wrong about that. still waiting on replys from both. so if anyone could clarify..

Jim Rose is a good guy. I run his Stage 3's.

Casserly knows his way around injectors also and Tony is a hoot. As far as nozzles, I like EDM's just fine. I wouldn't worry about EDM vs. EH until you want to start making real power.
