Exhaust ? Need Advice Please.

Hey guys I have an 02 with an s&b intake, ts performance chip, and stock exhaust straight piped. Not currently towing anything just yet as I'm back in school full time. Just wondering is it worth it to step up to a 4in turbo back exhaust? Is half an inch really going to make that huge of a difference or should I just save my money. I found a diamond eye system with a muffler for 259 shipped to my door. Yay or nay? Thanks for the advice.

Have you driven a lately???

If you have excessive egts when towing the 4" would help a little bit. I personally like the sound of the 4" with a straight through performance muffler, sounds real good without the raspiness of the straight pipe, I got my exhaust from jegs its a 4" turboback with a glasspack muffler thing sounds mean as hell! It was $299 shipped to my door. If the diamond eye comes with a straight through muffler I would get it. JMHO

most of the restriction from the stock system is the muffler.
the downpipe is the other restriction.
i dont think you would see a huge gain, just lower egts and 3-4 psi more of boost.

if you dont want a muffler alligatorperformance has 4 inch diamond eye for like 230
