wont turn over any faster, but if you had a few bad plugs, the motor would definitely then, fire off quicker, if bad gp's were replaced with OEM gp's.

if you have trouble starting in cold weather then you most likely need new glow plugs, they help raise the temps in the cylinder so when you have your compression cycle the air is hot enough for the fuel to combust.

2000 Ford F250 7.3 4x4 158k miles. MODS: Beans Tunes, 4" exhaust, custom twin intake, boost fooler, ported housing w/ Clays 11 blade billet compressor wheel, foil delete, glowshifts 3 in 1 gauge, AIH delete, bellowed uppies
Future mods: banks intercooler, coolingmist, 6.0 trans cooler, BWD blue powder coated valve covers, BWD coated exhaust manifolds.

Is there any test you can run to determine if you have bad glow plugs?

How do you know if your glow plug relay is going out?
