I see kits for 150 to 200 bucks out there for transmission filtering. What makes that so special? I can get some brass hose barbs a little line and a filter head for maybe 30 bucks. Now depending on the filter 5 to 20 bucks. So maybe 50 bucks total? What makes the expensive kits worth the extra money?

Better yet if you have that filter remove it. It clogs up and causes transmission problems.

The shop that built my trans removed mine for this reason. Since that filter has been removed, I have lower trans temp readings, and have not had any problems with the trans.

Thats why the filters cost more, because of the filter heads, you need that pressure bypass... The Diesel site kit is the one I would run!:thumb:
