Mods to get smoke!

i have a question, with the mods i have so far should i be seeing any more smoke comin out of the exhaust? if so i have none just the little bit when i get on it but only at first.

i see alot of your guys videos on here and just giving it a little throttle and smoke just roars out.

if not with what i got, what else would i need to get the smoke rollin.

thanks
dave

With the mods listed in my sig I can easily blow a ton of black smoke, if I floor it, it will smoke black from 0-35 or 40mph, than it turns a greyish color. Lose the K&N filter!!!

The secret is to overfuel the engine, so get a chip with a tune that has really heavy fueling. you'll get even more smoke if you have a clogged air filter .

Of course, smoke isnt everything, it usually does signify that your truck is putting out some power, but it doesnt need to smoke to put out power.

chip it ... it will roll the coal unless you use Banks tuning

my old superchips 1805 even made decent smoke in the performance setting ... not near what Tony's extreme does though

you need injectors. they are the best way to get dark, thick smoke

I agree chip it. You're truck is still really stock.

Some say 10 k mod pruduces a little more smoke, but not what you're looking for.

Also remember that smoke is unburnt fuel and wasted power. A smoking truck does not mean a powerfull truck

Use a boost regulator...it fools the map sensor into thinking your truck is only pumping 21 or so pounds of boost....so your truck wont defuel....thus burning more fuel.
Theres a couple of links on this site about a diy, and one from itp diesel...i use a diy and its great.

ya the best way is to get the custom tunes with the smoke setting. my ol' stroker will roll coal when i lug it on smoke or wot one the daily tune. key to smoke is a lot of fuel
