Boost gauge

I picked up a boost gauge now all I need to do is get the stuff to run it. Where is the easiest way to install it. What parts will I need. Thanks!

Get a T fitting and Put it inline with the line going to the map. That prolly the easiest way. There are other ways though.

Thanks. So here comes the stupid question. Where is this line to the map sensor. I just got the truck and don't know a thing about diesels.

This is where your map sensor is.

Here is my old one t'd into the MAP line, and the second is my new boost reading in the AIH plug.

Was there any difference of a reading after moving the mounting from the map to the AIH or were they both the same. I know they should be the same but ya never know.

They were pretty much the same. I heard the AIH plug was a more accurate reading, but I really didn't notice any difference....
