Question about 6 postion chip and my transmission

I'm wanting to get a chip for my truck it is stock tune now, but I have a question about my transmission set-up. I found a chip for around $300 but it said if you had trans upgrades I needed a custume tune and it was higher. I bought the trans in my truck used and was told it had a transgo tugger kit and a aftermarket converter. All I know is the converter looked newer and was painted a blue color but I cant verify these upgrades. So which chip do I need. Thanks

I was talking to a local diesel shop about it, they just said it was a ts 6 postion chip and wanted $295 for a chip for a stock truck and $445 for one that had upgrades of the tranny or injectors and turbo. I will check out your website, and be in contact with you. I have just started thinking about tuning my truck for better performance and just called a local shop to check and they told me that had me wondering.

300 bucks and you get custom tunes.

and a trans go tugger kit and different tq converter doesnt make the tranny tuning different.

when you fill out the questionarre it tells you that shift kits and tq converters dont quanitify needing custom tranny tuning.

Your truck should been fine with standard tunes, like me I need a valve body for my tranny because I've had somewhat of a hard shift in the 1-2 shift, and now with the ectra power it just makes it more noticeable, so you should been good to go
