New to Powerstroke.org and have ?

I have a 2002 ford F-250 super duty. I use it mainly in the summer to tow a boat and haul a slide in camper. The truck did get good fuel mileage until the low sulfur fuel. Now I get about 11-13 depending what I am doing. I put the 4 exhaust, and new intake so it can get more air flow. The truck has 104k miles and still runs great. The only thing I had to do to it was brakes, and rear differential seals.
My question is I was considering the Edge Evolution CS tuner. I was told it will help with the fuel mileage and has the Transmission tuning so I do not blow out the transmission. Has anyone installed this tuner before? Is it worth the money.
Thanks in advance
Darryl

edge has some of the worst transmission tuning out there.

i would go with a chip from php, gearhead, beans, tony wildman etc.

much better transmission tuning and more power.

then get atleast egt and trans temp gauges.

also, if you have the grey ford recall cps in.
try the delphi, bwd, or int'l cps. they will will help with idle quality, fuel mileage, and power.

also maintenance is always good too.

I always do the maintenance. fuel, air filters, oil changes. I looks at the sites you suggested, they all sale the Edge Evoluation except php has stopped for some reason. with that said I am confused.

Is EDGE products good or not good?

edge tuning is not good.

it will kill your transmission.

I'd also throw in the 6.0L transmission cooler if all your doing is towing, that will help keep your temps down, I've heard nothing good about the Edge tunes they seem hard on transmissions, I have the PHP Hydra chip, and love it I can plug in my laptop and add any tune on the list.
