TS Chip Check engine light under full throttle

So I installed a TS 6 position chip on my 99.5. Every setting works perfect and the truck runs and shifts awesome. Pulls pretty damn good on the 140 tune. But on the higher tunes if i go WOT it will throw a CEL. Once i let off, it will go away after about a minute. Is it for overboost or something? What do i need now?

Could be overboost, could be low/high ICP reading, or something else. Scan it and watch live data if you can.

Should i buy some sort of boost fooler? I have a friend with a snap on scanner so I will do that. Also it has 291,000 miles, and has been on stock tuning untill now. But it runs really well.

No, you should scan it first and see what the code is.

Yup, ordering the OCR tomorrow. I'll probably get the glowshift triple gauge kit (bst, egt, trans) with pillar for now.

Don't get the glow shift... get a good quality gauge, which is not glow shift.

If you can't afford the whole package get the pod and a pyro gauge. Then fill the rest as you can. Isspro is 20 times the gauge that glow shift is.

If you get glo shift, they might or might not work. Some people do fine with them, some don't.
I like AutoMeter, mid price range, but work just as good as ISSPRO.

I love my isspros, got boost, fuel press, trans temp, and pyro. Hook up with clay at riffraff. Hell send you your pillar painted along with a tap for pyro, which many places charge you extra for
