Exclamation Signal Mirrors on a 02?

Well I finally got my signal mirrors. 03-06 stock matte finish with heat and power and stuff. the extendable towing ones. my question is for anyone who has done these style or the 08' towing mirrors with signal and lights... are the wires in the door somewhere because they are already in the harness or am i going to have to go digging through harnesses and such ? this could be really good if its just plug and play. I think you could get signal mirrors on an excursion that were not extendable but im not sure. either way anyhelp is great.

thanks tom

The easiest way that I found them was finding them under the truck on the way to the rear lights(Just keep in mind if you use the rear lights the lights will come on when you brake also). You can also find them up front from the headlights. Another route would be to remove part of the dash and tap into the LED's that light up in your dash when your blinker is working.

I wired mine in up by the headlights. Mine is a 2000 so there were no wires in the doors.

I think that I still have that info at home. I bought another set of mirrors for my work truck and they came with adapters. I'll set if I can find that info and post it up.
