HPOP pressure?

So i hooked a scanner up to my truck to day to check out my 17* pump since i installd a used one. The pressure didnt go below 2600 psi and and wa a high of 3100 psi. The IPR was 40% at full throttle. Are these normal numbers for a used pump?

yes, i believe so. i'm no rocket scientist though, but from all of the threads i have read on many forum boards, 2600psi at full throttle is not bad, and the duty cycle on the ipr is not ever supposed to go past 45%-50%. dual pumps can get you some extreme icp, like 3600psi!

You have one of the good HPOP's. Good numbers, Congrats!

Dual pumps will pretty much give you what you want when you want it. My duals give me 3200psi at 1600rpm(at WOT) and it holds there up to 3350rpm which is where I let out of it, I'm skeered to go above that. My max duty cycle is 43%.

You have one dang good HPOP on your hands.

Mine seems to be right around 2600 WOT. What kind of pressures do you need ro run with stage 3 injectors.

Your HPOP will handle stage 3 hybrids fine. You are going to have to ditch the hyperpac because you need custom tunes for the injectors, they are single shots.

Yeah i have planned on getting some tw tunes anyway. Im just gunna use the hyperpac for the gauges. What is the difference between hybrids and reg injectors.

Regular injectors would be stock, Stage 1 or stage 2's. Hybrids(stage 3 for some companies) use B code interior parts to make an injector that flows more fuel than stage 2's.

In short, the difference between hybrids and regular injectors is the amount of fuel they flow.

I'm about to rip out my hpop and launch it off a bridge. Mine maxes out at 2600 with hybrids.

Those are very, VERY good numbers with stage 2's. That pump wouldn't even know the difference between those and 3's.
