Electric fans

Has anybody done electric fans. I've got an 03, I was wondering how many CFM the stock fan flows.I wanted to go electric but I can't find any info, I've seen the kits made for the truck but they're an arm and a leg. Any info would help.

I have asked the same question and everyone told me its not worth it. If you pull something, you run the risk of overheating. If you use the truck as just a daily driver then maybe they would work just fine. If anything i wish they made an ON/OFF clutch fan like on a semi. So it wouldn't always be spinning, but come on when neccessary.

How odd. I've run without a fan for awhile. Even when I did have a dual electric fan, I only used it when the a/c was on.
