HEADLIGHT SWAP

Has anybody ever done a headlight swap. My 03 has the sealed beam, industrial style headlights. What will I need, just lights or new brackets too ? Also will the 06 lights and grill fit?

yes your old brackets will work, but you may need to cut some to get the 06 lights to fit in there...I used a dremel with a carbide cut-off wheel, worked really good!...The grill will fit to..again with a little trimming in the lower left and right corner to clear your 03 bumper...unless you went with an 05-07 bumper then you wouldn't have to trim the grille...I just kept my bumper and coated the top part with some bed liner and then pin striped it...looks very nice when done right.

Very nice looking ! Did you have normal headlight from factory though, because mine has the small sealed beam lights with a black border and a black grill.

You talkin bout the XL base model headlights, that are found on most xl work trucks?

yes you can do the swap from the pocket headlights to the nice looking ones like johan has. My buddy did it they bolt right in. By the way Johan, your truck looks real sweet. Diggin the 08 mirrors!
