Fuel Bowl Options

The fuel bowl on my '02 has started leaking. Are there any other options I should consider before I pay to replace the worn out parts in the existing system?

I am running a RiffRaff FRx, and plan on stage one injectors later down the road.

Thanks all.

the fuel bowl reseal kit is super cheap.
just reseal the whole thing and call it good.
will be plenty of fuel for stage 1's, especially with the frx

How hard is the reseal kit to install? I already did the o rings on the drain valve which didn't fix my leak. Been looking into the reseal kit and possible new drain valve.

ive replaced both fuel lines and rebuilt the fpr as well with it in the truck and it wasnt bad.
i will do the drain valve eventually too. i think its barely leaking.

but when you reseal the whole thing you remove the fuel bowl, so its easier.

I've pulled the fuel bowl for cleaning, like blue99stroker said, it pretty easy... just don't break the return/regulator fitting, they're like $50 at international and you need it for your truck to move(personal experience).

IMHO it's a good excuse to do a RR.. the fuel bowl heater is on the same circuit as the PCM, and that little booger has been the only reason my truck has left me a foot. May sound extreme but that's one battle i choose not to worry about anymore.

ya ive replaced my fuel bowl heater element with a new one.
hoping it works and doesnt strand me (knock on wood)

if your going to reseal it, you mine as well rebuild the fuel pressure regulator as well.

my brass poppet and valve were extremely worn, and the orings on it were almost gone.
