Need 7.3 Build Help and Opinions

New to 7.3's. Ive bought an 03 lariat with 210k miles in July. Tranny was rebuilt at 200k (have paperwork proof).Since then I have ditched the edge evolution and added-
TW 6 pos chip
glow shift gauges(EGT, Boost, Trans temp)
4 in lift on 35's

Looking to continue building it and increase power, but still keeping it as a daily driver. Need advice/ opinions on what else should be done, both upgrades to potential 7.3 problems and aftermarket upgrades.

A 6.0L trans cooler is a must if you are gonna be hot rodding. The 7.3 cooler isnt near big enough.

With the chip, you will likely have some compressor surge from the turbo. What I would do here is change the intake setup to accept ghe 6637 air filter first. Then, depending on what your going to do about injectors, either install a ww2 from dieselsite.com or upgrade to a bigger turbo if your gonna buy bigger injectors.

That should give you something to look into.

Custom tunes, 38r and stage 1's will wake it up....Tymar if you like it LOUD..if not a AIS with a filter fender sleeve.

X2 on the trans cooler and I'd also look at a BTS VB if you get inj's.

Thanks for the responses. I forgot to say I have an afe intake and a 4in turbo back exhaust. Not really important but it may help. I've heard alot about the 6.0 trans cooler, I just wasnt sure if it's really worth it or not but I might be going that route now. Eventually, I'd like to go stage 2 injectors. What all am I gonna have to upgrade along with that?

Forged rods or defuel it to the point that its equal to what stage 1's can get you. Or be lucky and turn it up..then add Head studs, HPOP, BTS or JW trans, fuel mods etc..$$$

So right now, Im definitely going to do the 6.0 swap.

Also curious, I bought the truck from a coworker of my dad and he said it was a 4in lift, and I'm just curious how to check that? I know measuring shock height installed can tell me, or I believe so anyways. Any pointers on that?

Has some wheel shudder too, feels like its in the rear. Anyone know reasons for that, or how to fix it?

Is the rear shudder at speed or take off?

01 f250CCSB, 285/75/16 GY duratracs, 4 inch diamond eye straight pipe, riff raff 6637, php Phoenix chip, tru-cool, riffraff billet wheel, isspro EGT gauge and torque app.

if its the rear at take off lube the slip joint on the rear driveline. mine was doing this and it just needed some grease.

It's from take off as I accelerate, till about 30 or so mph
