Mine runs at 2,000 as well at 70mph, and I hae 3.73 gears also. With the an OBDII scanner hooked up it says goes from 1800-2100 while cruising at 70. But the tach was steady at 2000

I'm gonna say you have 3.73 gear ratio. Just because the tach is reading a little high doesn't mean nothing. Now if it was reading 2500 or higher then I would say it is gear ratio.
