IAH hooked up for starting?

i know from the factory that the IAH is only used for idle emissions, but was wondering if there was an easy way to make it come on with my glow plugs to help with cold starts?

i know some of my glow plugs don't work, i changed a few out for advanced auto brand ones and have since found out (by other forum members) that they are junk and go out quickly. so what brand do u guys suggest?

It would be easy to setup the IAH relay to trigger off the glow plug relay but it won't help you. Sure it would be slightly warmer air but the block would still be cold and your batteries will be tired from the huge demand of glow plugs, IAH and starter. Your best bet is to fix your glow plugs and plug the truck in if it starts getting really cold.
