Fuel Filter ????

Early 99' PSD do they have frame mount fuel filter or just the one on top of the engine??????

Just the one up top.

6.0's have the frame mounted fuel filters as well as one more up top.

Only the top one, unless you count the crappy thing in the tank that has little screens in it that can get stopped up. I highly recommend removing it and doing the tank and prepump filter mods, may save you if you get a bad load of fuel plus helps keep the air out of the injectors and makes the factory filter last longer. The frame mount filter I used only cost $5 for replacement elements. the entire mod cost me $35

Thank you sir!! Reworked my fuel system last week but needed another filter setup for the auxillary tank.

Hard plastic type stuff, not glass. Seems pretty durable and mounted where I have mine it would be very hard to hit it with something.
