2003 7.3 questions

Howdy, All
I currently have a '97 Powerstroke, 4WD, CC, 410 gears, 165K miles on her. I'm looking to move to an '01 to an '03. Hopefully an '03 I saw in truck trader. My questions are relatively simply...what should I be looking for? The weak link on the Old Body Styles were the tranny. I got that fixed with a stage 3 rebuild. She's damn near bullet proof now. Are the tranny's up to power and torque of the 7.3's? Am I looking at a rebuild down the line?
Thanks so much

4R100 are the same as the E4OD trans! It would be safe to say, yes you will brobly be rebuilding that trans if it is not done so already!

Close to the same...

Lots of electrical changes and a few mechanical.

None the less...

The 4R100 is fine for stock hp, minus a few issues. Keep the fluid clean and cool and there good.
