Thanks for the replies guys. Next up: Detroit trutrac front and rear. Anyone know if those can be installed by the average DIY mechanic or is that something best left to the pro's?

as long as you arent regearing i think you can do locker/limited slip swaps easily.

Since you are replacing the diff, you are still going to have to set the backlash on the gears.

What kit is it? I looked on superlift and I only see 2 or 6"+ lifts, I am looking to get a little more out of my 2000 CCLB but I dont want to go as high as 6"
