Huckfest tried to beat me but my 7.3 kept trucking!!

So over the weekend i went to Pismo CA at the dunes to watch huckfest which was the biggest turn out that Pismo Dunes has seen to date!!

Half way through saturday i heard a clunk and my front end started to float a little while romping through the dunes. Noticed that the bottom shock bolt on the passenger side fell out causing my shock to hang there. Im trying to find an OEM one off a website like RockAuto or similar site to replace but with no avail.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or would simply matching up a similar bolt at Ace Hardware suffice?

Thanks for the help guys!

Just buy a bolt from ace & you will be fine. Personally I'd put a grade 8 bolt in but that's me.

On a side note, what did you think f the guy coming all the way from Michigan and having the longest jump? He is a touch bit nuts.

haha ya thats a long drive just to huck your ride on the dunes. but he couldnt have picked a better place to do it! Pismo was sold out before noon on saturday at right around 25 thousand people/vehicles and had to turn away roughly another 5 thousand at the gates....it was an epic display of hucking by all the contestants and i can not wait to do it again next year!!!

on another side note, BJ Baldwin was a crowed pleaser as always but my personal favorite for the weekend was an old school ford f100 from MotoLife. That truck was wicked cool and put on a show all weekend before and after the event.

I saw there was a heck of a turnout. I may try to make it out there in the next couple of years.
