Replacement Radio Type

I have a 1999 F250 SD, Super Cab, with the stock AM/FM/CD/Cassette radio. I need to replace it, but I've been told it's Double DINN, and I've been told it's DINN and 1/2. I've talked with the dealerships, and even Ford Motor Co., and no one can tell me which it is. I've noticed that some on this forum have replaced their already with Alpine's and such, so perhaps someone there has already figured this out?

Thanks, Tom

you can either get a dinn and a half aftermarket unit or get an instalation kit with an adapter that lets a single din fit, which is how most are done (includeing mine)
