Anyone running a oil bypass system?

Looking for input on these. Do they work?? How much do they increase the life of your oil??

They will keep the oil cleaner as to dirt etc. But it won't help with shear or TBN. Huei systems tend to shear the oil much more than traditional diesels.

If you get it for a good price it may be worth a shot and send in some samples for analysis.

I have an FS2500 system on my 2002 7.3..... had it since the rig was 1 year old.
after I installed it, i ran the oil for 40k miles while changing the filter annually and ran oil analysis. Every time oil analysis came back as no change necessary.
Filters are about 27 bucks....
Now. I usually change oil every 20 k miles. My oil capacity is about 16.5 qts.
Well worth the money IMHO.
I run shell Rotella 15-40 exclusively... May switch to synthetic this time around.
