How to tell build date of truck??

Where do I look to find build date of my truck. Motor valve cover says Jan'99.

look on the VIN sticker. follow the B pillar down to almost the floor it should be there

That'll give ya the month and year, if ya want more exact, have an Oasis report ran. That way you'll know if you got a Friday or Monday truck.
