02 mileage question

Me being somewhat new to being a diesel owner. I've been looking at an 02 with 217k on the clock. I know the 7.3 is a very strong engine, my 97 work truck has 180k and only burns oil.

I was wondering how the pistons, rings, crank bearings, injectors, basically the things that would constitute a engine rebuild fare at that mileage. The trucks for sale for 9K and is 3 hours away. Photos appear clean, but I want to know if its even worth the drive to see it.

Also note, this will be my first diesel. I've driven and worked on quite a few others
