Newbie looking for help on a purchase

Very new to the site here and looking for some help. i am almost ready to purchase an '00 PSD from one of my buddy's friends. truck is beautiful with about $20k in extras (9" procomp lift, 39's, wheels, power steps, all kinds of banks stuff, MBRP 5" exhaust, DP tuner, the list goes on). downfall is that the truck has 220K miles on it. i am not exactly new to diesels so i know they can run forever with proper maintenance. the guy says the only real stock parts left on the truck are the block and pistons. took it for a test drive and to me, runs mint. the guy is very mechanically inclined as is his entire family. he told me the truck has always been serviced regularly. any reason to get myself away from this thing? thanks for the help in advance.

Just make sure it wasnt abused. Find out who did the lift on the truck and research the work they do, I would mainly check stearing components (lifts can mess with that...along with it being abuses...so make sure) Where are you located? if you could find a diesel shop there im sure they could do a check up for you!
