I can definitely Vouch for the truck running horribly.

It really sounds like it has a miss, i dunno any other way to explain it other then at idle, it creates the same sound that a gasoline engine makes when its misfiring. If that makes any sense.

Which in turn, would leave me to think you have injector problems.

Could all of these problems be related tho? As in there's one thing causing all of it?

I.E. Missfire sound, Low Oil Pressure, and Low ICP

Just thought i'd add that too the pot also

what would cause a missfire in a diesel though? dead injector? since theres no spark plugs, theres only an injector thats contributing to combustion in the cylinder. at least fuel and air are the only things in there, besides an injector.

Yeah, technically it isn't a "missfire" but thats just what it sounds like, wouldn't you agree?

Lots of things.

injectors, fuel, hpop/icp/ipr. List is long. Address the oil issue first.

If hpop/icp/ipr could be one of the causes of that "miss", then couldn't the Oil Issue and that "miss" be related? Or more then likely not.

If an injector misfires or doesn't fire for whatever reason, you'll have a nice stumble to the motor.

Simple example, let's say you have an injector with a clogged up (yes they do clog up, and no, injector cleaner will not fix this) or damaged nozzle, the fuel wont' be the same as the other cylinders.

right, I see. not as much fuel or none at all geting into the cyl causes misfire, and high egts too huh? fuel is not there to keep the cyl walls cooler.
