2 little cars

I was driving 70 on a straight flat road and 2 little imports came rolling up behind me doing about 80ish, they then attempted to pass me but didnt relize I was on a test run after installing the wiked wheel and Tymar conversion. So as they came creeping up to pass so I just starded to open up the accelerator and they held on real good till about 100mph, I just keept my eye on the pyro and let them have it. After a couple of miles I hade to turn right, So then they passed me while I was turing, I guess it wusnt suprizing to say I had the bigger smile.

I know that the whiked wheel does not add any more peak power, but it feels like it comes on allot quiker and it cleared up allot of my smoke. But the downside is it makes the pyro hoter quiker to and it takes longer to cool down.

Do you have an upgraded intercooler or exhaust? Those'll help you knock down a couple degrees of EGT.

Good thing too! I made an attempt on my TechniCooler & it's a f'n project! I thought it'd be the easiest part to install from the Big Hoss bundle & it was actually the only one that didn't make! I know it's off topic, but what kind of injectors are you looking @?

The Tymar conversion is the cheapest way to upgrade your air filter only cost around $30. I'd build my own to the stage 2's but I probably won't do that until I upgrade the turbo to, so thats aways down the road. How much do you think the intercooler cooled your EGT's?

Are you asking me? About 25-30deg. cooler in each power setting. This past Saturday, the TechniCooler really proved itself. It was about 75deg. outside & in L6 @ WOT, it didn't go any higher than 1100deg. @ the exhaust manifold & 1000deg. @ the turbo.

WOW I wish I could keep my EGT's that low. If I would only get 25-30 deg cooler with an aftermarket intercooler it still would not be enough. I'm thinking of going with the water/meth setup because I need to get my EGT's lower by at least 500deg.
