A/C compressor plug wiring on side, new one on top..
I picked up a new Motorcraft a/c compressor for a good deal on ebay. It was listed to fit my truck, and it looks exactly the same on the stock on except for the wiring is on the top rather then the side. The wire will reach to the new location but it also looks as if I could remove the clutch and move the plug to the side. I tried to remove the clutch, briefly since the bearing did not seem to want to come of the compressor and I did not want to screw up a bran new part!!
Can it be moved? or should I just leave it on the top? The only worry I have if I leave it on top is that I might screw it up one day while I am working on something else since it is a little more vulnerable on top!
