Well, with what you have listed you might be lucky to see 300 to the ground unless you have some injectors or something. That sure as heck won't outrun a chipped Common Rail Dodge, or a mildly modded 12v.

Then you're probably picking and choosing the slowest ones to race to inflate your ego. I did the same thing when I owned my 7.3. I only raced the ones I was pretty sure I could beat.

LOOK up the top 10 diesels and see where the 5.9 Cummins is and where the 7.3 powerstroke is.

Again, you are telling me something with little if anything to verify it. Link me to something plz, I have only seen a top ten in DP mag and I don't remember what engines were on it nor where they placed.
A bully dog programmer and a few other things gets 550 horse? Again, what are the other things, what year is your buddies truck? Auto/manual? Stock/built/clutch? etc....
When it comes down to it, Cummins 5.9 and the Duramax have and continue to flat out dominate in racing. There is no Ford PSD powered vehicle so far that I am aware of that has gone faster than Zane Koch's 7.3 obs, best of 10.86, and that's actually not very quick compared to what the Duramax and Cummins powered vehicles have achieved up to now. It's good to be loyal to the brand you love, but you're forgetting who sits on top when making tremendous power and setting records, PSD's are in 3rd among the big 3's engines. Banks' Sidewinder Type D has run 7.72, there are also at least 2 or 3, perhaps more Duramaxes that have run lower than 10 seconds. The Scheid rail, 7.0 1/4, Jimmy and Dale Smith's 4x4 drag truck 9.75. As mentioned before, if you're gonna say something provide some back up, preferably something other than spew.

I like my 7.3 and wouldn't trade it for anything, I've been ran by a few and done my share of runnin people too. I'm still wanting to hear of the rail system for the 7.3 and see what numbers people are pullin. I'm just glad to hear most people are still buyinng American Trucks.

Cumminskiller2007, In your profile you claim 420 horses for your rig. Where did this number come from?

Is that the factory crank number with the mods "advertized" hp gains added to it?
Just curious where you go it dyno'd.

Even @420 hp, how did you walk a 550hp(is this a dyno#?) truck? And please don't say becuse you're a better driver...please
