So Im finally getting around to replacing my up-pipes with the International Bellowed pipes, and was wondering if it would be a good idea to rebuild the turbo while its out. The truck has 170,000 miles, and I put a wicked wheel on about 70,000 miles ago. Other than that the turbo is original. I don't seem to be having any issues with it, but for $100 for the rebuild kit I just thought maybe it would be good to do whiles its out.
Or, should I go by "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
Was it rebuilt when you did the wicked wheel 70K ago? I would just for piece of mind, they are simple and easy to rebuild so i would do it if i had the extra $100.
