Replacing up-pipes....rebuild turbo at same time?

So Im finally getting around to replacing my up-pipes with the International Bellowed pipes, and was wondering if it would be a good idea to rebuild the turbo while its out. The truck has 170,000 miles, and I put a wicked wheel on about 70,000 miles ago. Other than that the turbo is original. I don't seem to be having any issues with it, but for $100 for the rebuild kit I just thought maybe it would be good to do whiles its out.

Or, should I go by "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Was it rebuilt when you did the wicked wheel 70K ago? I would just for piece of mind, they are simple and easy to rebuild so i would do it if i had the extra $100.

No, it wasn't rebuilt at the time the WW went on. Thats what Im thinking, just for piece or mind, and since it'll be out of the truck anyway.

Pretty easy to install so you can have piece of mind. These might help as well.

So I got around to replacing the up-pipes this weekend, as well as doing the glow plugs. Wow....what a difference! Wish I had done this years ago as they've been leaking for a while.

Right off the bat I noticed how quieter the truck is, and I also seem to notice lower EGT's, less smoke, and so far...a rise in MPG's.

Here's what the passenger side up-pipe looked like. The pipe pretty much fell out of the baby-butt end collector.
