Intermittent Headlights

I have an interesting situation and can not figure out why it would be happening after looking at the wiring diagrams.
My headlights turn on everytime but will turn off while I am driving. If I turn the switch to the run lights and back to the head lights they come back on. Also, if I turn on my right turn signal the head lights come back on. I can't figure out why my right turn signal would have anything to do with this as they are completely isolated circuits as far as I can see. I'm kind of thinking the headlight relay is going out but its difficult to diagnose considering it is intermittent with no pattern so far.
Anyone have ideas on this issue?
