id make sure your chip was seated good.
if that doesn't do do it take the chip off and see how it goes.
one thing that helped my rough idle was replacing the fuel pressure relief.
the brass poppet with the o-ring that goes into the fuel bowl was so worn out.
your suppose to have to tap it out with a screw driver mine just pulled out by hand. and the o-ring wasn't really an o-ring anymore.
dieselorings and riffraff sell the kits.
if your not getting good fuel pressure that could explain your lack of performance on the top end.
