02 7.3 no power need help

hey guys my cousins 02 7.3 was blowing fuses when ever he shifted into drive found a wire to the overdrive button shorting to the column he fixed it now starts idles but no throttle control does this sound familar to anybody i'm hopein he didnt fry the ecm

Needs to run a scan, but it could be the tps or throttle position sensor.

Does the instrament cluster work? There is a fuse that controls throttle and gauges may be its bad also.

yep i think he did say the cluster was dead i'll look at that thanks
