Parking lights w/ fog lights

well i did a search and didnt really find much, i read on another forum how to mod the headlight switch mechanism so that you can have your fog lights on without the headlights having to be on, but it didnt work. my fog light switch pulls out with the parking lights on, however the fogs wont turn on unless the headlights are on.. does anyone know the way to do this? i seen trucks driving around with just the fogs on, i really wouldnt want to add an extra switch just for the fog lights, im sure theres a trick somewhere, any help is appreciated.. thanks in advance!

On the 02's and up its jumping a wire... on the 01's... you need to add another switch.

I have a 02. I would like to just be able to turn my fogs on. Any idea what wire to jump?

I saw one driving with just the fogs on and it looked sweet!

I think it's a wire you jump under the hood... I could be wrong though.

It's called the steve something mod IIRC...

heres a bump. sounds cool. on a 02, how do you turn on the fogs? do you just make the switch so it pulls out in a different place also?
